Adonis came from an animal shelter, where he was dropped off by his owner with a female companion (Remington). He is pedigreed, a large and VERY STRONG Dobie, and he's about 3-4 years old (as of 2020). Remington was adopted separately but Adonis has been able to share his space with another large, female Dobie peacefully. It was obvious from the scarring around their muzzles that their muzzles were tied shut, probably to discourage barking. Though we haven't observed excessive barking during his stay with us, it should be taken under consideration if there are lots of nearby neighbors. Adonis can be a fearsome watchdog!
