April is older girl who was aged at 10 years old at the animal shelter. We don't know her exact age but her teeth suggest she is certainly in the "senior" category. She is still quite active with no signs of slowing down so she isn't quite ready to retire as a couch potato yet. April has been great with people and she could probably be a wonderful addition to many different types of homes. She has been fairly dog social but she likes to be in charge despite her small size. She would be best with a larger male dog and an owner who can let her know the rules so she doesn't try and decide them for herself. We do love sweet April and we would love to see her get a second chance so she can live the rest of her life to the fullest.
