Argos is a new arrival who came into our rescue program because his animal shelter felt he was too shy to offer for public adoption. He is shy, but only briefly. The world has probably been a scary place for him since he lost his home, voluntarily or involuntarily. He did not strike us as being at all aggressive, so we partnered him with a social female Dobie, and he's not only comfortable with her, he shares a doghouse with her. Argos is an active 2-year-old who merely needs a confident owner to guide him. He probably would be better placed with a confident large dog already in the home, but either way we think he'll be a successful adoptee for a loving owner.
