When we rescued Athena from the animal shelter she was very, very pregnant. She gave birth and raised her pups in foster (3 of them are still waiting for homes and you can see them here). Athena is now ready to find a loving home of her own. She is about 3 years old and stunningly beautiful. She is also quite smart and will need an inclusive home that can provide her with sufficient exercise and mental stimulation. She gets bored if left alone for long periods so she can't just be left alone all day in the house or yard with nothing to do. Athena is quite dog social, sharing a large kennel with male and female Dobies so a friend or 2 may help keep her from getting bored too.
