Barney got lucky the day we happened to be near his animal shelter in the central valley when we got a call about a sweet neutered Border Collie needing rescue. BC's being one of our favorite breeds, we of course had to go there to rescue him. Barney is on the large side for a Border Collie, with a mellower disposition. He's a gentle dog who is even kenneled compatibly with another male dog who displayed alpha-dog behavior when they first met. He's about 2 1/2 years old, would probably be a good family dog, and he's stunning!
