Batman is a youngster with energy to burn. He will need an experienced adult home that loves to be active and is willing to put in some training. With people he knows, Batman is a huge goofball that loves to play and loves affection. He isn't as welcoming to strangers however and can be defensive when out on leash. He just isn't comfortable having new people invade his space too quickly. He has definitely gotten a lot better since arriving here at the rescue and he is getting more socialization but further training should be expected moving forward into a new home. He lives with medium to large playful, athletic female dogs and we think an appropriate companion dog in a new home will help him gain confidence and flourish. We aren't sure he is quite all Dobie because of his slightly different face shape but he is really adorable anyway (and his pictures don't quite to him justice). Batman also loves water and will play with the hose if you let him. He is an incredible dog who is full of potential but we want to see him in the right environment where he will absolutely thrive.
