Beast was recently surrendered to us by an owner that had him for 3 years. He lived at a plant nursery and was finally given up because he destroyed some of the facility's plants, primarily by hunting for critters because he's very prey-driven. He is housebroken, good off-leash, and said to be good with other dogs, but he's probably not a good choice for a family with kids because he's selective in his behavior with petting and other handling. Beast's ex-owner said he enjoys being petted but may bite when the petting stops, which sounds to us like a dog used to being in control. He's now 6 years old, and he's a big boy at 80+ pounds.
