Beckham is a sweet, fawn male who recently came to us from an animal shelter.  He was apparently seen around as a stray, along with a female Doberman, for quite some time before animal control finally caught up to them.  Both dogs were too fearful and stressed out to be adopted from the shelter so they reached out to rescue.  We are actually looking to place the two dogs separately because we believe they will do better with a more confident dog (or 2) that can be a good influence and help raise each of their confidence levels.  Beckham gets along with large dogs of both genders and he hasn't shown any issues with the one small dog he's been introduced to.  Beckham will need a very patient family that can really work on him and building up trust since he is very shy.  He is quite handsome, though his coat isn't perfect, and we hope that some continued TLC will help it improve.  (He was nervous during his photo shoot so he wouldn't sit or stand up straight but he isn't quite as small and stout as he may appear here.)
