Bella is an adorably sweet and funny girl who loves outdoors, snow, water, hiking, great recall off leash. She loves cuddles... soft beds blankets etc. Lives with 2 shelties, horses, and a cat on a 3 acre ranch. Fully house trained, only chews her bones, very soft mouth when receiving treats etc. She loves to play outside and sometimes gets the zoomies but can also nap all day with me in bed. Bella will alert you a stranger is coming to house but never has been aggressive. Loves her butt and ear rubs. She is hesitant on hard surfaces and prefers rugs when walking on hard floor surfaces. She is just worried she will slip but will eventually walk across. Bella knows basic commands- sit- stay- lie down- shake w/both paws. She’s not food aggressive at meal time as she’s fed with the other dogs. Great with nail trims, baths, and very easy to get along with. Bella is very funny and entertaining- she talks with throat sounds when wanting to communicate with you.
She is being rehomed for a few instances where she fought over a dead gopher in the yard and our shelties got hurt. She is intense with the little dogs when fighting over prey ( gophers etc). This is a concern living on a ranch. She has lived with shelties her whole
life but because of this situation I prefer a home with no small dogs. Bella will chase cats if they run... but has never hurt any and is called off easily. Bella has lived with an indoor/outdoor cat her whole life.
