This is a courtesy post for a dog named Benjamin that needs a new home.  Please contact mariesophon@gmail.com for more information.

"Male, just turned 4 years old, Red rust, weighs about 97 lbs. European, full breed from West Coast Dobermans (can provide breeder info). Ears in tact, tail docked. He is friendly, loving and very energetic. The reason we are having to give him up for adoption is that we have a 9 month old baby and another one on the way, and while Benjamin is friendly with children, he is a klutz and has a tendency to run over things without regard for what is in the way. This is of course a danger for young kids.

Benjamin has no health concerns. He loves to play fetch, run and exercise. He’s also a cuddle bug. He loves affection and to be with other dogs and people. He has some barrier aggression on the leash (gets overly excited and pulls on the leash when he encounters another dog or animal), but has no problems once he’s off the leash in daycare and other social situations. He needs a home owner that has time for him, is physically strong to be able to walk him (I recommend male or very strong female), and loves to give him the exercise he needs. He’s house broken and can sit, stay, lie down, wait, on command."
