This little cutie is Bernadette and she came to us from an animal shelter with a scar down her back from some kind of previous injury or burn. She is a young adult so she is full of energy and would be the ideal dog for a home active enough to satisfy her. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and (once tired) she loves to cuddle. Bernadette has proven to be quite dog social, at least with larger dogs that can keep up with her. We did discover during her pre-spay blood work that she does have a clotting disorder known as Von Willebrand's. It doesn't seem severe enough to make a small injury life threatening but careful handling and appropriate medical care will be necessary if she ever requires surgery in the future.
