Bowser is originally from a local animal shelter and we were asked to take him because of his frantic behavior when leashed, crated, etc. He is a friendly dog but he needs a low stress home and patient, gentle handling. Bowser is distrusting of new people and is suspicious if intentions are unclear. His leash skills are improving daily and he takes guidance well but he needs someone experienced enough not to put too many expectations on him too soon. Bowser likes most dogs but he would do best with one other large dog, preferably female and playful. Bowser is about 2-3 years old (as of 2020), and he's average size for a male.
