This gorgeous girl is Brat, a name she came with from her previous home. She is apparently 8 years old, though you would never guess it, and she was surrendered to an animal shelter after she was attacked by two other dogs in the home. She suffered an injury that resulted in a huge, open wound that couldn't be closed. We have been taking care of her and using honey wraps to help her heal. There is still a small part that is closing slowly but she looks amazing considering it once took up half of her chest. Brat can be the occasional brat with other dogs but only out of annoyance and the desire to have her own space once and a while. She is wonderful with people and we have noticed that she takes to children exceptionally well. Brat is still an active girl but she doesn't require strenuous exercise daily. We don't believe Brat would be a good candidate for a home with cats.
