Bronson is a senior Dobie we rescued because his behavior toward people is endearing and because we love old dogs. He's not in great shape; his coat is dry and he is a bit weak in the rear end, but that doesn't stop him from being willing to go anywhere, any time. We had hoped that he could free-roam six fenced acres with a host of other dogs that have access to indoors via a doggie door. The good news is that Bronson did well with the freedom, always returning to his human, and he never marked or messed indoors. The bad news is that another male gave him a bit of attitude, and Bronson didn't tolerate it. So, sadly, he waits in a kennel, ideally for a senior or handicapped person to be his, so that they can spend their days relaxing and enjoying each other's company.
