Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix

Bruiser is back with us soon after being adopted because the training he requires was a bit too much for the adopter. On the positive side, Bruiser is very sweet, social with other dogs and with people, and not destructive. His major negatives are not being housebroken and being a "door-darter." He urinates submissively when being corrected or when he thinks he's in trouble, perhaps from being dealt with too harshly on previous occasions when he made a mistake. He'll undoubtedly require crate-training and a predictable routine for his bathroom duties. As for being a door-darter, dogs like this can ideally be adopted to condo owners with no access outdoors via a front door where they can simply dash out, because most people are careless at least part of the time! A small, fenced condo yard would be great for training. Bruiser is about 2 years old, probably a Pomeranian-Corgi mix, and he weighs about 10 pounds.
