Doberman Pinscher

Bubba is a super silly, big boy who came to us from animal shelter where he was brought in as a stray.  He is a charmer and it is hard not to fall in love with his goofy demeanor but he can also be a lot to handle so he needs a home ready to put in some effort.  He is smart and has a little training but focus can be hard when he is excited and driven towards something else.  He will need a patient home that can give him the exercise and mental stimulation he needs.  Bubba is sweet though, great with all people and most dogs though his recent disagreement with some males makes us feel he is better suited to share his home with a playful female.  Bubba does have a genetic clotting disorder called Von Willebrand's so he has trouble clotting normally.  He handles daily life just fine and minor bumps and scrapes don't cause a problem but he will need special handling for nail trims and any future surgery.  We are happy to discuss this further with any potential adopters so they can plan accordingly.
