Chase is a new male from upstate whose owner turned him in to the local animal shelter because he nipped the owner's son while he sat on the couch between the owner and his son. No one is quite sure why the bite occurred, but the dog had a recent leg fracture and was highly medicated at the time. Still, we are recommending Chase for an adult home where he will not be allowed on furniture or a human's bed. He has done well with a large female dog since arriving here. He's tall and very lean, and about 18 months old (as of August, 2018).
