Mixed Breed

Dakota is an adorable youngster who was originally found as a stray. After an exhaustive search no owner was found she she has been staying with the people that found her. Unfortunately, they can't keep her because she absolutely cannot live with their cat. She is around 1 year old with an enthusiastic and energetic personality. She needs an active family that can provide for her both mentally and physically. Other dogs should be fine but no cats and in our experience, Dakota actually gravitates towards men. Her breed mix is a total mystery but she seems to resemble some herding breeds like corgi and cattle dog though she is a bit smaller than they tend to be. Dakota can be at the rescue in Fillmore, ca during open house on Saturdays for meet and greets.
