Darling came to us from a rural shelter.  We have no idea how such a sweet, affectionate dog landed in those kennels but we are happy we could be part of her journey towards a loving forever home.  Darling is middle aged presumably and everyone believes she's probably been a mom a time or two.  Her cropped and flopped ears have a mind of their own and to see them flapping around is so endearing.  She hasn't had the best care and the muscle tone in her back end is lacking.  She needs a comfortable place to sleep and regular walks to keep her body healthy and strong.  She has been good with large male dogs but we aren't sure she really requires the company of another dog if you're looking for her to be your one and only.  She seems far more drawn to people and the affection they can provide.  One last thing, Darling knows how to open some gate latches so a lock or carabiner may be required.
