Dash is a newly-rescued dog who was left at a downstate animal shelter by his owners. The shelter staff believed the reason for Dash not being wanted was that he is old. It's true that he's lumpy, which is fairly typical of older dogs, but his lipomas are soft and believed to be benign and not worrisome. Dash is a beautiful boy, about 8 years old, who is unaggressive to other dogs but terrified of some of them. He will refuse to assimilate with them if he fears them. We don't want to put this good boy in a kennel. He is clearly used to more comfortable digs and will wait many, many hours to relieve himself. He may be a good candidate for someone in a condo, mobile home, or other small-scale living situation.
