Rachel is a very pretty older dog who was just given up by an owner moving to a no-pets residence. She is on the large side with the heavier body style typical of European breeding. Rachel is 7-8 years old and is housebroken, non-destructive, and according to her ex-owner, has no bad habits. She is kenneled with a male Doberman without any problems. She is not believed to be good with cats or small dogs and her behavior toward kids is unknown.
Though she was housebroken in her previous home, she recently failed in a new home because she was not housebroken. She will need someone patient enough to work with her thru the transition and we would recommend using crate training to keep accidents from being a problem while she gets used to a new routine.
