Jake and Lucy were adopted together by a man who found them amazing: very smart and responsive to training and activity. Unfortunately, demands in his life and the need to move because of the pandemic caused him to relinquish them on May 30, 2020. He says they are very bonded, housebroken, good with kids, have basic obedience, and aren't destructive. When he needed to leave them for periods of time, they were very fearful with their caretakers and suffered from separation anxiety. An ideal home for these dogs will be with a retiree or people that work from home without the stresses of major social activity. Jake and Lucy are very bonded, with Jake having remained with Lucy following human cruelty that resulted in her having to have one leg amputated. She is small at under 60 pounds and is 2-3 years old. He is large at over 80 pounds, and he's about 5 years old. At this time we are not considering separating Jake and Lucy.
