Duchess was reliquished by her owner on April 12, 2021. She's an 8-month-old Dobie girl who looked quite skinny to us on arrival, but now we understand why: she's an extremely anxious girl who undoubtedly spends every calorie she takes in. On the positive side, Duchess is housebroken, good with kids, knows several commands, and isn't destructive. On the negative, she has nipped two people (the owner's mother and her trainer) when she was stressed and "redirected." We think Duchess can be a good pet for an owner living in a relatively stress-free environment. Even though she is said to be good with kids, caution would need to be taken with her present around them to protect them from unanticipated stress, with them being "in the line of fire."
