Edie originally came to us from an animal shelter with a case of demodectic mange. Luckily, those days are long behind her and she is perfectly healthy but she started displaying some behavioral issues. We aren't sure if it was the kennels that stressed her out but she did nip someone that came into her kennel and she became territorial. Edie is very loving with people she knows and actually quite submissive but she does seem to have issues with strangers. We have been able to easily keep Edie with other larger dogs although she prefers social males. We really hope that there is a loving forever home in her future without alot of strangers around she can feel safe and won't feel the need to be defensive. In the meantime, she can stay with us at Leaps and Bounds where she is very much loved and she can dream of a future in a wonderful home.
