Ella was found as a stray dog with a completely broken front leg. Sadly, no family ever came to get her so the shelter asked us to rescue her. We immediately got her to the vet and luckily the surgeon was able to repair her leg! Ella is just over a year old and has made a full recovery after months of limited activity. She enjoys playing with her foster brothers and sisters, hiking, and following her foster parents all over the house. Ella has proven to be very social with all dogs big & small but probably not good with cats. She loves all people she meets including kids but can be bit protective on leash. She will sometimes bark at strangers during neighborhood walks but nothing bad like lunging at them. Ella is young with lots of energy and does great indoors but loves to be outdoors playing. She is very smart and food motivated and loves to cuddle up on the couch as well as sneak into her foster parents bed at night.
