Elmo is a delightful Doberman mix. He's probably part Lab, but there is at least another breed as well. He runs with a group of over 12 dogs within a large fenced compound, and he tolerates almost all of them very well. We think Elmo is about 3 years old, but his behavior is that of a big puppy. He's fun and playful, and he can be a rascal, stealing things from countertops and chewing up paper that falls on the floor. He enjoys running, and though he was impounded as a stray dog at his animal shelter, he doesn't give the impression of wishing to escape if his needs are met. Elmo is housebroken and uses a doggie door willingly. He's very beguiling....
