Fizzy was rescued from an animal shelter where she had been impounded with about 50 other small dogs from a hoarding situation. They all lived indoors, and their living conditions were dismal. She is insecure with new people and needs time to warm up to anyone she doesn't know. For this reason, we think she would be best in an adult home. In Fizzy's previous home she suffered a broken leg when her owner claimed she jumped out of his arms. We did everything we could to fix the leg and we were able to have the fracture heal but her leg will never be 100% again. Fizzy is good with other dogs, although a little bossy, and she is good with cats. She will need help adjusting to a new home and routine but may not be housebroken right away.
