Foxy was impounded at a Central Valley animal shelter with a microchip, but the owner said he had given her away, and she was unclaimed by anyone else. She had a name that was unpalatable to us, but Foxy sounded similar enough and she seems to respond to it. She also has tall foxlike ears, so the name seemed to be fitting. Foxy is pretty dog-social, having been kenneled with male and female Dobermans, though the male bullied the other female in the group. We think Foxy can do well with any large male companion dog and may be inclined to play with him. She's about 2 years old, lean at under 60 pounds, and active. The white hair across her muzzle are probably the result of having her muzzle rubber-banded or tied shut for unknown reasons.
