Fredrika is a new rescue dog from an animal shelter where she had been relinquished by her adoptive owner. She is estimated at 18 months and weighs 66 pounds, and she has been social with the male Doberman she is kenneled with. Her shelter evaluation indicated high arousal when leashed near small or medium dogs, so it isn't known whether she may have high prey drive or merely intended to engage with them. Either way, Fredrika displays as high-energy with some anxiety in the kennel environment. The shelter does not record owner comments, only assesses dogs with their own handlers' observations, so it isn't known whether Fredrika is social with children, but they would probably need to be older kids that wouldn't provoke anxiety by running, screaming, and throwing things, as small kids are prone to do. She also may play too rough and/or be too mouthy for small kids to enjoy. Several pictures that were shared with us shows her indoors, in a home environment, so we assume her to be housebroken.
