Doberman Pinscher
Gibbs is a young, very active Dobie who is stunningly handsome and will be a great dog for an adult home with additional training and socialization. Gibbs is reactive to people he perceives as possible threats and will lunge and potentially bite them. In the short time we've had him, he seems to be quite reliable with people he knows and doesn't feel threatened by. A knowledgeable owner who is willing to work with his insecurities should be rewarded with this handsome, playful fellow who apparently never received the input he needed growing up. He's just over a year old. Oh, and he also barks excitedly when stimulated, a behavior that will likely subside when he's in a more calm, controlled environment.
