Doberman Pinscher

Gina is a volunteer favorite, though she's pretty aggressive to other dogs when on leash or viewing them from behind "her" fence. She's a fun-loving, playful 3-year-old Dobie girl who was given up by her owners with a male Pit Bull that had been shot in the leg. So, apparently she may be able to share a home environment with another dog, though we don't recommend it. She was impounded with bites on her face that were likely caused by the other dog. Perhaps that's why she doesn't care for other dogs! Gina loves to play tug-of-war, and her favorite toy is a large hard ball with two handles. She fetches the ball and offers it for tug-of-war, but she's strong and usually wins. She enjoys a comfy bed and won't destroy it. Because of Gina's attitude toward other dogs, we don't recommend her for a family with kids.
