Gretchen is a beautiful adult female who came to us from an animal shelter. We were immediately struck by her gentle, affectionate nature and it was impossible not to love her. She is a "people dog" which means she far prefers the company of people to dogs. That being said, she can be around other dogs and even live peacefully with the right one but we think she would do best with large, non-confrontational, calm males. Gretchen is quiet, sweet and travels well in the car. She is athletic enough to enjoy activities like walking and hiking but she isn't a hyper dog who needs or desires non-stop action.
