As usual, we have more than one Harley. This one is brand new as of March 12, 2021, and he's quite a gem. He's a pedigreed 4-year male that is good with other dogs and small kids, housebroken, and knows numerous obedience commands. Harley's owner was forced to give him up due to his barking at every kind of stimulus. He's a very alert dog who needs a lot of stimulation and exercise, but he is super-strong on leash, so a large fenced country property would be ideal for him. Folks who are interested in agility work might also consider him a worthy candidate. Since Harley is an extra-large dog with so much strength, we can't consider placing him with other than large adults who are willing to utlize a prong collar to control him. It was reported by the owner previous to his most recent one that he pulled her over and dislocated her shoulder, so we would hate to have a repeat incident with a new owner. Also a country, non-urban environment is required so that his vocalizations don't cause neighbors to complain about this in his next home. We did place Harley in a wonderful home but there have been unexpected issues between the other dogs that were in the home previously.  Though Harley has been wonderful, the other 2 dogs are now having issues and the family believes it would be best to find another home for Harley so they can heal the relationship between the other dogs.  Harley will be staying in their home in Southern California until we can find him a suitable new home and they will be arranging meet and greets.  Please send us an application if you're interested in adopting Harley.
