Jake is a new addition but we don't expect this handsome gent to last very long.  He's absolutely darling and from what we see, he is good with other dogs and great with people.  Jake was surrendered to the animal shelter because they could not care for him properly and we are happy to help him find a new place to call home. He gets pretty animated around wild birds that land in his yard so we don't recommend for a home with birds and we aren't sure cats are a great fit for him either but we would happy to test him upon request.  It is also painfully clear to us that Jake was never allowed inside. He was so terrified to come indoors that he shut down and we had to carry him inside. That also means he is not housebroken so any potential adopters should be ready to put in the time and work to acclimate him to the house.  Jake is being neutered this week and then he should be ready to start his new life with someone that truly treasures him.
