Jake came to us in February, 2020 from an animal shelter where his owner had surrendered him, saying there wasn't enough time for him and they didn't want him to be sad. He had lived there 3-4 years, and they said he is housebroken and never had accidents, although he was mainly an outside dog, very obedient, sweet and friendly to people and, as we have learned, to other dogs. Jake can even be walked by other dogs with no problems, which often isn't the case with our breed. He tolerates children, knows basic commands, and is an all-around easy keeper. He's an extra-large dog (over 100 pounds), and his age is in the early senior range. There were differing ages indicated on his history paperwork, so we're not sure of an exact number.
