Joy is a youngster who came to us with large, bandaged wounds assumed to have been the result of being hit by a car. She was pretty down at first but as she healed we saw her personality flourish and this girl has some energy! Joy is only about 1-2 years old so she's always looking for something to do and someone to play with. She can be a bit insecure when first meeting new dogs but once bonded, she becomes best friends. She has fully healed from the trauma she suffered but scars will most likely remain so we hope she can find an adopter that can see beyond them. She's on the small side, loves affection, likes to go for walks and finds comfort in enclosed spaces like a crate or tucked away bed. We also introduced Joy to cats and she was playful towards them so she may be able to share her home with cats or small dogs.
