Kendra came to us from an animal shelter in rough shape. She was emaciated, shut down and needed surgery to remove a mammary mass. Our vet took care of the mass and although it was cancerous, they felt they got clean margins. It has been nearly a year since her surgery and she is still tumor-free! Kendra is probably 6 or 7 years old, on the small side and loves people. She can get along with large male dogs but is very prey-driven with smaller dogs and cats. Kendra is super smart and knows how to open her gates but she never wants to leave. However, a simple carabiner keeps her safely locked in. She has a sadness to her, not knowing who to fully give her heart away to, but we sincerely hope she will get the chance at a loving home soon.
