Kiara is a new arrival as of May 20, 2020. She came to us along with a male Dobie from a caretaker who was tasked with locating a safe haven for them after their owner died. We originally planned to place them together because we assumed they were quite bonded but we actually found they were better and more relaxed when separated. Kiara is 5 years old and believed to be in good health; she certainly had good veterinary care. She isn't very tall but is solidly-built at just over 70 pounds. Kiara is almost certainly housebroken, but the caretaker didn't know much else about them. Among the dogs' medical records was one for a cat apparently living in the same household, so Kiara may be cat-social as well, though behavior from a new cat (who may run and trigger the prey drive) could produce a different reaction than compatibility.
