King is a youngster who was surrendered to us on October 20, 2020 by his owner, who stated they were unable to keep him at their house. He wasn't given to us directly; he spent a couple of weeks in a foster home that received his paperwork, so we don't have all of the information we would prefer to have, but King was initially insecure at his foster home and also upon his arrival here, barking at us as we approached his kennel. After we paired him with a female and began giving him treats, he became much more comfortable and appears happy to greet us now. We suspect he wasn't well socialized as a puppy and juvenile. King is 15 months old as of this writing on November 12th. According to his relinquishment form, he hasn't been trained, and he's a chewer and digger. Again, we suspect it was situational, where he was kept outside with no training or stimulation, so he created his own stimulation. King is very handsome, dog-social at least with females, and has never bitten anyone. We're anxious to see him blossom in a new home where his needs will be met, hopefully with a confident female to help train him by example.
