Lance was a stray dog impounded at his animal shelter. He may have been lost for some time, as he was underweight with dry, flaky skin. Having spent a month with us as of the end of May, 2021, he looks better and is improving every day. We haven't noticed any negative behaviors other than Lance's tendency to guard his food, understandable after having gone hungry for an indefinite period of time. In other respects he's a passive, mellow dog of about 7 years old and now weighing in the low- to mid-60's.
