Louie was rescued from an animal shelter in the spring, severely underweight
and with apparent trauma to his face. Though it wasn't discovered at the shelter, a broken tooth had caused damage to his muzzle and eye, and he fortunately made a full recovery after surgery. Louie is a happy little red male weighing slightly over 50 pounds, and he's about 2 years old. He's compatible with most other dogs but prefers to eat alone. Louie is slightly "different" neurologically and he takes a little patience when introduced to new things. He's not special needs but he could use an understanding home.
