Martin quickly became a favorite of our volunteers because he engages affectionately with them. He was underweight on arrival and is still gaining, but his appearance is noteworthy because of his coloring. He looks like a cross between a red Dobie and a fawn, but it's possible his coat will look different when properly groomed and fed. He's about 4 years old. Martin came to us with another male Doberman who may have been related but a terrible fight occurred between them. We are unsure if it was only because they were intact males or possibly related to a bad history they shared. At this time, Martin is kenneled alone and we are recommending him for a one dog family but we are hoping to safely introduce him to a social female at some point to see if he can peacefully live with another dog.
