Maxine is a shy girl who came to us from an animal shelter where she was shut down and terrified. She is probably around 4 years old, not too big, with a long tail and natural ears. Maxine's fears are mostly of people but she isn't aggressive at all, even when stressed. She has made progress but each new person is a new experience so she needs a very patient and understanding home. The good news is that Maxine LOVES other dogs and gets along well with every one of them. We think she needs a home with at least one other dog that she can bond to and learn from. This shy girl deserves a home where she can really get the understanding she needs to feel comfortable.
