This is Mick Jagger!! This 6-month-old cutie has been with us a while dealing with some medical issues. He originally came to us as a 5-week-old pup who was surrendered by a breeder to a vet because he was "paralyzed". He actually had a condition called puppy swimmer's syndrome. He was unable to stand or walk but this guy is such a little fighter and so driven that physical therapy got him on his feet. It took a long time for him to straighten out but it has never slowed him down. Jagger does have one slightly wonky back leg but X-rays showed no major structural abnormalities. Jagger has been fighting a terrible upper respiratory infection and even though he's finally beat it, he does still have a bit of scarring on his lungs. You would never know this active, fearless guy was ever sick though because he has never let it get him down. He's big, strong and absolutely full of life. Jagger is dog social but he plays rough and he can be quite hard headed. He needs an adult home or one with kids 10 and older that can handle an energetic puppy that needs lots of continued training and socialization. Jagger is ready to take on the world! He is only at the rescue in Fillmore, California on Saturdays but meet and greets can be arranged on weekdays in southern California by appointment.
