Millie is a medium-sized mixed breed dog whose owner had to make a choice between her and their cat, because the cat continually attacked Millie. She had been adopted as a 6-month-old pup and the people had tried to work it out for six additional months, but when Millie began chewing plastic pots and digging in the backyard, they decided it would be best for her to be in a new home where she could be a more-included member of the family. She was spending evenings in the house from 8 p.m. on, and she is housebroken. She does a bit of "counter surfing," so she does need supervision, like any youngster. Millie is good with kids and other dogs, and she knows several commands. The other area in which she needs training is to curb her tendency to nip people when playing. She most closely resembles a short-haired Norwegian Elkhound.
