Mochi is a fuzzy, little guy who lost his home after being attacked by another dog.  They didn't have the money to care for him so he was surrendered to the vet and the vet asked us for help finding him a new home.  Mochi's leg was too badly injured to be saved so it was amputated and his other wounds were stitched up.  He was hurt so badly he barely moved for days.  He's about 3 years old and is a non-shedder or low-shedder breed mix.  He was terrified (understandably) when he came to us but with some patience and some yummy food, he started coming around.  With people he knows, Mochi is now super friendly, loves to cuddle and loves attention.  He is not a social butterfly though and keeps his distance from people he doesn't know.  He especially doesn't like it when people where big hats and sunglasses that cover them.  Mochi will benefit from a patient owner, a low stress environment and a quiet home where there aren't a lot of visitors to deal with.  He has been around other dogs but he can get defensive so he will also need time to adjust to any new animals.
