Moose is a Dobie who was loved so much by his animal shelter employees that they drove him 10 hours each way to bring him to us. He wasn't an easy placement at their shelter because he really isn't fond of other dogs, and he's quite strong on leash. Outside a "doggie" environment, however, he's golden: loves people, affectionate, playful, funny. Moose is a bit under 3 years old (as of December, 2019) and he clearly craves a human to bond with, whimpering sweetly when he views a person he knows. Ideally, Moose should have strong adult owners who spend ample time at home keeping company with their pet, without hobbies like trail hikes, beach romps, or dog park outings.
