Nicki came to us in early August, 2021 after having been relinquished to an animal shelter shortly before due to her owner's housing issues. She is 5 years old and quite pretty, dog-social, and friendly to everyone she has met so far. The only negative we have observed with her behavior is anxiety when confined. Nicki is probably not a dog that can be crated, and she'll require a yard that is securely fenced with a type of fence and gate that can't be chewed through or dug under. She may become more comfortable being left at home after spending time with a new owner and knowing that owner will always be returning. Her abandonment at age 5 must have been very traumatic for her. Nicki's favorite thing is having her ears caressed and massaged.
