Niko had to be surrendered to us by a military family whose constant moving and base breed restrictions didn't allow them to keep him, though they loved him dearly. Niko was born 3/13/08, so he's 6 years old, and he's housebroken, good with other dogs, good off leash, knows commands, and has

no known bad habits. They recommended that we avoid placing him with anyone having small kids, as he tends to be afraid of them. In our experience,

Niko has been very kind to his large female dog companion, and we think he's one of our most adoptable dogs, a very tall and handsome red boy.
