Nina was taken in from an owner that had her about a week, but they found her too unpredictably aggressive under certain conditions. They said "she is sweet until she isn't," and "doesn't respect her human pack leader." Clearly Nina will need an experienced adult owner in a calm environment where she can be taught to not be a resource-guarder and to unlearn the behaviors that worked for her in the past that enabled her to get her own way. Nina did have a bite history in a previous home, which was a somewhat forgivable one, as it was possibly provoked. On the positive side, she's young at about 2 years old, housebroken, and not destructive. She knows a couple of commands and is an excellent watchdog.
